Robert Rügemer, Managing Partner and Founder of InfraEnergy Advisors
Robert Rügemer has more than 20 years of experience in structured finance and capital markets. Before he founded InfraEnergy Advisors in 2014, Robert was for 8 years Partner at EquityGate Advisors, where he was responsible for financial advisory in the energy, infrastructure, and real estate sector. Prior to this Robert worked 11 years in London where he held senior positions in corporate finance at Deutsche Bank, Ambac and WestLB.
From his long experience in the capital markets and his strong track record in origination, structuring and execution of complex financial transactions, Robert has an extensive network of corporates, banks and investors.
Robert is a graduate economist (University of Wuppertal) and holds a Maîtrise Sciences Economique of the Université Panthéon-Sorbonne (Paris), in addition he studied at Birmingham University.
Uwe Sager, Managing Director
Uwe Sager is an expert for structured finance and project finance with a focus on the energy sector. From his more than 20 years of experience in this area, Uwe has a comprehensive knowledge and deep understanding of the European energy markets. Before he joined InfraEnergy, Uwe was Finance Manager at AC Biogas and Partner at SPF Partners for 8 years, a consultancy for structured finance. In addition, Uwe was a Director of Siemens´ Private Equity business. Prior to this he worked in the project finance team at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein in Frankfurt and Singapore.
As an engineer, Uwe has an extensive technical understanding of the energy generation business. Furthermore, he is an expert for financial analysis and cash flow modelling. Uwe has an extensive network to banks and financial investors. Uwe is Master of Business Administration (MBA) of the IMD Business School Lausanne and Bachelor of Sciene (B.Sc.) of the Colorado School of Mines, Golden/USA.
